| Vijaya Hospital – Blood Bank forms an important part of Vijaya Group of Hospitals.
It is one of the Kind which has licence to prepare blood components and blood products.
It Caters to the need of all its In – Patients and out – Patients and also surrounding hosital, especially those in need of blood components like Packed cells, Platelets and Fresh Frozen Plasma.
The motto of the blood bank is “to Provide safe blood and optimal use of blood in the form of components”. |

The usage of components as first line of treatment for the patient requiring the blood transfusion has avoided the Wastage of wholr blood. |

It also provides extra screening facility for Hepatitis C Virus apart from Mandatory Screening. Thus adjusting to large need of blood from small voluntary blood donor population. |

| The hospital canteen supplies the diet to the room for the patient and one attendant who stays with the patient on payment. |

The doctor Prescribes the therapeutic diet according to the Patients condition. |
|
|
The dietician plans diet according to the doctors advice as well as patients like and dislike's, Food habits. |

Separate Dining hall is available for patients, attendants and out patients. |

| Divine Travels situated inside the hospital campus is well established with a set of trained staffs.
Services can be availed along with other travel related services such as Air tickets, reservation & cancellation of train tickets, car rentals. |

| Cash collection center was opened on 9.12.1991 and subsequently upgraded as Extension counter on 9.12.1992. Catering to the needs of Doctors, Patients and employees of Vijaya Group of Hospital's. |

| Pharmacy: |

| The pharmacy at Vijaya Hospital and Vijaya Health Centre has sufficient stock of drugs to supply the wards and patients. Life saving drugs are available at all the time and new drugs prescribed will be supplied within the given time. To ensure quick and prompt supply to patients admitted in Heart Foundation all cardiac drugs are sent to the concerned wards through staffs Night pharmacy is available
The billing in the pharmacy is fully computerised.
